Red Hat Open Demos are the live demo sessions run by Red Hat technical experts to provide information and technical knowledge about Red Hat products and solutions to customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Today’s Open Demo
Mission Brief: Message to Ethan Hunt:
"The Lego City 60337 train is speeding down the tracks without a driver! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to deploy an AI model at the edge to stop the train before disaster strikes. This message will self-destruct in five seconds… Four. Three. Two. One.”
(♫ Mission Impossible theme plays ♫)
In this exciting demo, we’ll showcase how a Lego City train runs autonomously, stopping precisely at a traffic sign, all thanks to AI-enabled autopilot. Join us as we walk through the entire process of making this happen, leveraging AI and edge computing technologies.
What you’ll see in action:
- Lego train controlled via Bluetooth Low Energy
- Tuned AI model (based on YOLO) deployed on an Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano
- Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano running Red Hat Device Edge with MicroShift
- Data flow using AMQ, Kafka, and Apache Camel for acquisition, transformation, and aggregation
- Real-time data presentation with Quarkus
- AI model training with Red Hat OpenShift AI and Label Studio
- Live video stream from the train’s onboard camera
Why attend?
Experience how cutting-edge AI and edge computing solutions can work together to create innovative, real-world applications.
This session is a glimpse of the final demo customers will see, with a more technical deep dive scheduled for December 2024.
