The Fedora Shipping Company is a fictitious shipping and delivery company with warehouses distributed throughout EMEA.
In this demo, you will see true embedded hardware (ESP8266 microcontrollers) used to scan incoming and outgoing parcels in warehouses. You will discover the technologies used to transport, store and process data along the path: MQTT, Kafka, Camel, Quarkus & Kafka Streams.
An application at the headquarter will display the parcels moving from one hub to another in real time when a parcel RFID tag is read.
